Jan Journey – Happy First Month Anniversary!
A Tiny Villa on a Hill – Jan Journey!
Hi there,
I feel like creating ” AtinyVillaonaHill.com” was a long-time homecoming for me. It just felt right from the get-go. I have been trying to create a blog for the longest time now, but I am so excited that I am here now, finally writing the newsletter on its first month’s Anniversary. Happy first-month dear! It’s literally like a baby for me. Dreaming what it will look like, what it will become, what kind of content needs to be fed in, to make it a positive space for you, yes You! Thanks so much for giving it your time. You don’t know how much it means. It’s my energy to keep going. And that’s huge, especially during this pandemic!
Jan Highlights:
This blog was conceived and I spent a lot of time thinking about what kind of content is this space going to occupy. The conception is that this will be a villa where you can get glimpses of several little things that makes our lives special – our books, hobbies, life hacks, life stories, talks to follow, humongous love of S&E (yes, you read that right – S&E its short for Science and Education), etc.
My first post was about an amazing book by Marie Kondo – The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up that enhanced my vision of space, its belongings, its storage, and finally the ease to access it. I felt it deserved to be my first post because I am deliberate about where I am living and the energies that I am consuming in this living space. So, it goes without saying that I created a heartful of notes on this book that I generously shared with you!
My second post was my chillax zone – coloring with my kid. She and I color as much as we could in our busy lives of being a mother-daughter, scientist-student duo. I color with her, it’s when I realized how much I enjoy it. It’s funny that kids make us realize what works for us as adults and what doesn’t :). As a happy accident, I found coloring to be therapeutic. In this post, you will see me coloring my heart and soul. I am starting this as a series called ‘Color my Heart‘ wherein, I will be posting my latest coloring projects. Let me know what makes you feel happy and do you try to do that often as a part of connecting with your own awesomeness!
I can’t wait to bring heartfelt pieces to you through this blog! I hope you enjoy it as much as I am enjoying it by building it up. It literally feels like I am writing a handwritten mail to my dear friend saying how excited I am to keep her posted of what ‘A tiny Villa on a Hill’ has been up to.
More to come… Till then please take good care of yourself! The world needs you and keep smiling no matter what.
See you soon,
Love from A tiny Villa on a Hill.
